Sometime in the 1990s, Jade Dadiz's older sister started the Butterfly Club. There was one rule: Jade wasn't in it. Determined to invent something better, Jade grabbed her pens and markers and drew a cat. Then she gave it butterfly wings. The Kittenfly was born, half kitten, half butterfly, all heart, and Jade has been doodling them in notebooks ever since. More than a quarter-century later, those marker sketches finally became something you can hold.
